Browning 9mm For Sale

I am posting this for an old friend. It is a 9mm Browning "Made in Belgium", which puts it-pre 1974 or so. It is in excellent shape. He hasn't shot much through it. He has no idea the value of the pistol. Does anyone know what these are going for?

Not being an expert, I can offer this only. Check www.gunbroker.com, www.auctionarms.com and gunsamerica.com. Do a search of the pistol you are interested in selling. I found them on gunbroker with starting bids of $650 -$700, but, I am not sure if that is what they are worth or if that is what they hope to get. And,I am not sure how many actually sell. By going to the three sites I listed above, you can at the least, get an idea of what they are being listed for. Hope this helps.

I was wondering about it's value so I checked Gunbroker and the only one to SELL was a new in box, current production, with target sights for $644 + $22 shipping. Not exactly apples to apples. A lot of people list stuff on the auction sites, but the price that matters is what it sells at. I would look for a Forum that is for the Browning guys. You'll find some posts on prices, models, and maybe a for sale section. OR Google browning hi power for sale should get some hits on that.

Thanks for your help. I can't figure out how to post pictures on this thing. Maybe I don't have permission to do so or something like that. Thanks again for your suggestions. I will get the model and try to figure the picture thing out, any help on that...
