Aaron, Congrats on an awesome buck! It looks like you and your uncle had a great trip. What a stud buck. I love his width. Congratulations again on an awesome trip. It always makes the trip even better when you can come home successful a little early to spend time with family.

Hey old man!! Addiction can set in after only one hunt, you don't need to do it for years to get that way. Oh and by the way it is more an addiction to hunting than just hunting Coues, although that is high on the list as well. Oh ya and while you were depositing lead in the hills I was going 4 for 4 on my only coues tags so don't call me the rookie!!

Thanks all. It was a great hunt that ended way too quickly but I wouldn't change a thing about it. I am already planning my next backcountry trip, or two or three, but I will be sure to bring you along for each of them. Now I just need to continue working on my lovely wife so that she will allow me to get it mounted. Like many people around these days the pennies are few and far between and I need to start scraping them together.

hello - If counting pennies makes a difference at this time -in getting it mounted - at least get the hide/cape tanned - that way you can put off the mounting for a while if needed and know the cape will be ready later - do not just freeze a cape and let it sit too long - they can go bad in a freezer - get cracked and lose hair etc. - just a thought -

agin congradulations ona nice buck ! - Gary
